Commandments Agreement

Introduction

Every member of Billion Dollar Introduction® — client, candidate, or match — is expected to conduct themselves with the same standard of respect, discretion, and integrity we bring to our work. These guidelines exist to protect that standard for everyone in our network.

By signing below, you confirm that you have read and agree to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and E-Sign Disclosure and Consent Notice, and that you are acting on your own behalf and not on behalf of another person.

First Date Etiquette

Present your best self. Composed, gracious, and engaged — on both sides. Keep alcohol to two drinks maximum; sloppiness ends a connection fast.

Let the conversation build naturally. Save deep personal history — past trauma, family baggage, major life struggles — for once you know each other very well. Your date is not your therapist, or your trauma trash can and early intimacy of that kind can create pressure, judgement, rather than connection. They don't know you well enough to not judge you. Stay curious, ask questions, and keep the early conversation open and easy and let it flow organically.

Hold off on exclusivity topics. Children, marriage, and long-term planning are conversations for once you're in a secure, exclusive relationship — not the first few dates.

No comparisons. Don't discuss other relationships, past or present, on early dates. If asked, a simple "that's not important right now — I'm here with you" is enough.

Physical boundaries. We recommend taking things slow, both physically and emotionally, until exclusivity is clearly established and mutually confirmed — never assumed.

Communication Standards

Return calls and texts within a reasonable window — within 24 hours on weekdays, 72 hours on weekends or holidays. If you can't talk, a quick text noting when you're free goes a long way. This is true of your dates and your matchmaker — consistent non-response may result in removal from our database or revocation of membership.

Business hours and contact policy. Our matchmaking and membership team is available Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM EST, Friday 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM EST excluding holidays. Please direct all matchmaking-related communication to these hours.

  • Non-paying candidates who contact the team outside business hours for non-urgent matters may be subject to a $500 fee and/or removal from our database.
  • Please reach out to your matchmaker only about matchmaking-related matters. We're not able to assist with unrelated requests (job opportunities, investment introductions, personal networking) unless specifically retained to do so.

Respect & Zero-Tolerance Policies

We have zero tolerance for body-shaming. No comments — direct or implied — about a woman's body, weight, or appearance are acceptable under any circumstance. Violating this policy results in immediate membership review and possible revocation.

We have zero tolerance for shaming anyone's dating preferences. Everyone is entitled to their preferences — in physical type, age, background, or otherwise — without being made to feel judged for them. This is a respectful space for everyone, and we hold that standard firmly.

No drama, no gossip. We ask everyone in our network to bring emotional maturity to their interactions with matches, matchmakers, and staff. Repeated pattern behavior here may result in membership revocation.

Confidentiality is non-negotiable. Do not share any client, candidate, or member's personal information — names, numbers, photos — without our written authorization. This protects everyone in our network, and violations may result in revocation of membership and, where damages result, legal action.

Discretion around outside services. Please don't discuss other dating services or platforms with your matches, and don't attempt to independently connect our clients with other services. This is part of what our members and clients trust us to protect.

Travel & Safety (flagged above for legal review before publishing)

If travel is part of an introduction, both parties are expected to communicate clearly and in advance about comfort level and expectations. If you're not comfortable traveling for a match, please decline before any arrangements are confirmed — once travel is booked, we expect follow-through, and last-minute cancellations or no-shows may result in removal from our service.

BDI facilitates introductions between consenting adults. We are not responsible for outcomes, decisions, or arrangements made between parties after an introduction is made, including travel, lodging, or personal conduct. Participation in any travel arrangement is voluntary, and each party is responsible for their own decisions.

Safety Reminders

  • Please don't drink and drive. If you've been drinking, it is your responsibility to arrange a rideshare home.
  • Photos, last names, and social media should not be requested or shared before an in-person meeting, for privacy and safety reasons. If someone pushes for this early, please let us know right away.
  • Learn your top two love languages before your first match — it's a small step that meaningfully improves early compatibility.

Consequences

Breaking these guidelines, being disrespectful to a match, matchmaker, or staff member, or canceling on a scheduled date last-minute may result in membership revocation without refund. We take everyone's time seriously — regardless of profession, income, or background — and we hold our whole network to the same standard.
